IKO

IKO is a global leader in the manufacture and supply of quality roofing products including shingles, commercial roofing and asphaltic and bituminous waterproofing products. Founded in 1951, IKO began as a small manufacturing plant in Alberta, Canada. They now operate over 20 manufacturing plants in North America and Europe and their products are exported to more than 40 counties globally.   IKO has become the world leader in the manufacture and supply of asphaltic and bituminous waterproofing products.  A family-owned company now for three generations, IKO intends to be around for many more.

In addition to expanding the production facilities, IKO has expanded its line of asphalt roofing products to include organic and fiberglass-based shingles, roofing felts, and APP and SBS modified bitumen roofing systems for commercial and industrial applications.  IKO do not rely on outside suppliers but they tend to use their own production of row materials.  This is a key factor as time consuming and transport expenses are minimal but most importantly quality to the highest desired standards. They mine and crush their own mineral granules. Their fiberglass and organic felt mats are widely considered to be the best in the industry.  They even maintain a separate shipping terminal to receive bitumen.  From raw materials to finished product, their own stringent quality standards control the entire process. That is why IKO products are the finest in the market.

Noise insulation:

IKO roof shingles absorb a great amount of noise caused by rain and hail on the roof, making IKO shingles the superior option for noise insulation when compared to other materials.

Low budgetLower cost than other similar materials

If you have a low budget, than a light roof structure makes a great difference in the construction of your home and in your wallet.  When compared to conventional roofing materials, shingles are much lighter in weight and more flexible, without compromising quality levels at all.  With an IKO Shingles roof you save money: roof parts like hips and ridges are cut from the basic shingle tabs. Y ou do not need to spend money on expensive accesorries as you will have to with other conventional roofing materials.  As for later roof maintenance: labour and costs are reduced to the absolute minimum.  They are so easy to install so basically you can do it on your own in no time.
